The cultures that succeeded to Unetice in Central Europe, chronologically the Tumulus culture (1600-1200 BCE), Urnfield culture (1300-1200 BCE) and Hallstatt culture (1200-750 BCE) cultures remained typically Indo-European. The Hallstatt culture, centered around the Alps, is considered the first classical Celtic culture in Europe. It quickly expanded to France, Britain, Iberia, northern Italy and the Danube valley, probably spreading for the first time Celtic languages, although not bronze technology nor R1b lineages, which had both already spread over much of western Europe during the Bell Beaker period.

The Gascon & Iberian branch (DF27) :

It is hard to say when exactly DF27 entered Iberia. Considering its overwhelming presence in the peninsula and in south-west France, it is likely that DF27 arrived early, during the 1800 to 1300 BCE period, and perhaps even earlier, if R1b adventurers penetrated the Bell Beaker culture, as they appear to have done all over Western Europe from 2300 BCE to 1800 BCE. The Atlantic Bronze Age could correspond to the period when DF27 radiated more evenly around Iberia and ended up, following Atlantic trade routes, all the way to the British Isles, the Netherlands and western Norway (where M153 and SRY2728 make up about 1% of the population).

SPANIARD ... WHO ... WHEN ... WHERE ...

GREEN MAN

The Green Man is a spirit of nature personified as a man ... well ... I´d say more than that, he is the personification of power of growth of nature and his eternal renovation like we will see below.

His earliest images have been dated long before the coming of the Christian religion, depictions dating back before the days of the Roman Empire. However, it is with the coming of the empire that his images are noted as spanning religions, as he has been found both within the empire and at its borders, and then similar versions in other far reaching cultures such as India. Despite the range in locations of artifacts of the Green Man, he is most often associated with the society of the Celts, sequestered particularly in today's Britain, Spain and France, because of the high number of images found in these regions and the stylized way in which he has been portrayed.

The Green Man is almost frequently depicted as a man's face, usually ranging from middle aged to elderly, appearing out of the wild of forest trappings. His face is always encompassed by leaves, vines, and flowers, seeming to be literally born from the natural world. However, the slight variations on his images come from the exact way in which the natural world explodes around him. It is common for the Green Man to merely be surrounded by the greenery, hence the name ‘The Green Man’, but there have been archaeological finds of images in which the leaves and vines emanate from his mouth, ears, and other facial orifices, as well as depictions of his face made up completely of nature—facial lines carefully crafted as vines with his skin the very leaves themselves.

Because of these depictions, the Green Man is believed to have been intended as a symbol of growth and rebirth, the eternal seasonal cycle of the coming of spring and the life of Man. This association stems from the pre-Christian notion that Man was born from nature, as evidenced by various mythological accounts of the way in which the world began, and the idea that Man is directly tied to the fate of nature. It is the natural changing of seasons that presents the passage of time that ages Man, thus by depicting the Green Man in such a way that overwhelmingly illustrates Man's relationship with nature highlights the idea to worshippers that one cannot survive without the other. This union with nature and mutual reliance upon one another is evidenced historical and archaeologically through Man's cultivation and development of the natural world, and the fruits nature thereby provided. Man was predominantly reliant on nature until recent centuries, so that, to have a very close relationship with him was something or a matter of, survival ...

We have ... I mean ... he has a very close relationship with Inguz, like a god of renovation, prosperity, growth, development, and the eternal union among birth, life, events in life and death ...

STORING INFORMATION IN DNA ...

Living things have been storing information in DNA since the dawn of life, including the instructions for building every human, animal, bacterium and plant. The molecule itself looks like a twisting ladder, whose rungs are made of four molecules called bases that pair up in specific ways, adenine ( A ) with thymine ( T ), and cytosine ( C ) with guanine ( G ). If you can create your own strands of DNA, with the ones and zeroes of binary data converted into these As, Gs, Cs and Ts, you have a storage medium that will never go obsolete. Sequencing machines will continue to improve and will need to be replaced, but once information is stored in DNA, that´s that.

In terms of information density, DNA outclasses anything we´ve been able to invent. A single gram can contain as much data as 3 million CDs.

And once encoded into DNA, information is a doddle to copy. To transfer the contents of one hard disk into another, you need to hook both of them up to a computer and wait for minutes or hours. To transfer the contents of a tube of DNA, you dissolve it in water, suck up some of the liquid into a pipette, and squeeze it into another tube. It takes seconds ...

BLUEPRINT ...

Each probability system has its own set of " blueprints ", clearly defining its freedoms and boundaries, and setting forth the most favorable structures capable of fulfilment. These are not " inner images of perfection ", and to some extent the blueprints themselves change, for the action within any given system of probabilities automatically alters the entire picture, enlarging it. The blueprints are actually more like inner working plans that can be changed with circumstances, but to some extent they are idea-lizations, with a hyphen.

As an individual you carry within you such a blueprint, then, it contains all the information you require to bring about the most favorable version of yourself in the probable system that you know. These blueprints exists biologically and at a every level, psychically, spiritually, mentally. The information is knit into the genes and chromosomes, but it exists apart, and the physical structures merely represent the carries of information. In the same fashion the species " en masse " holds within its vast inner mind such working plans or blueprints. They exist apart from the physical world and in an inner one, and from this you draw those theories, ideas, civilizations, and technologies which you then physically translate.

Platonic thought saw this inner world as perfect. As you think of it, however, perfection always suggests something done and finished, or beyond surpassing, and this of course denies the inherent characteristics of creativity, which do indeed always seek to surpass themselves. The Platonic, idealized inner world would ultimately result in a dead one, for in it the models for all exteriorizations were seen as already completed-finished and perfect.

The inner world does represent idea potential as yet unrealized, but those ideas and those potentials do not exist outside of consciousness. They are ideals set in the heart of man, yet in other terms he is the one who also put them there, out of the deeper knowledge of his being that straddles physical time. Existence is wise and compassionate, so in certain terms consciousness, knowing itself as man, sent future extensions of itself out into the time scheme that man would know, and lovingly planted signposts for itself to follow " later ".

Man is himself made as much of god-stuff as earth-stuff, so in those terms now the god in himself yearned toward the man in the god, and earth experience. Not understanding yourselves, you have tried to put the " idea " of god outside of yourselves and your living framework ... to give a glimpse of your own infinite nature even within the bounds of your creaturehood must be very important, to see, better say, to feel, the human nature like part of your own divinity ...

MYTHS …

Myths symbolise the human experience and embody the spiritual values of a culture. Every society preserves its myths because the beliefs and morals found within them are crucial to the survival of their collective identity and traditions. These folktales and legends originate in our distant past, sustained by oral traditions and storytelling. They typically explain the origins of our world, the nature of the cosmos and the causes of unexplained phenomena. They also highlight the qualities of heroism and wickedness, suggesting a path toward greatness and morality.

Myths are essential to our world view because they ask fundamental questions such as, Who am I ? Why am I here ? What is the nature of the universe ? How do I reconcile my life before my death ?

These questions still pervade the human psyche today, and have compelled our species to unraveling the mysteries of the universe. Quite simply they challenge us to better ourselves, to unlock the secrets of the cosmos and to reach toward higher ideals. By acquainting yourselves with world mythology, you will ultimately learn more about who you are and embrace the inspiration that compelled the heroes of legend toward greatness and fulfillment.

RUNE STONES ...

The rune stones of the Viking period were erected in memory of the dead – mostly powerful people – and their honourable deeds. They were intended to be visible and were painted in bright colours. The stones often stood near roads or bridges, where many people passed by. They were not necessarily placed at the burial of the person they commemorated.

Their inscriptions feature the names of the people who lived and died at this time. They also provide information about the travels, great achievements and sad fates of these individuals.

The runic inscriptions always name the people who erected the stones and those the stones were raised for. Rune stones were placed in honour of both men and women. Often mentioned are the deceased’s closest kin, position in society, perhaps a short description of his or her character and the circumstances surrounding death. The inscription can also include the rune carver’s name and a curse upon anyone who dares to desecrate the stone. In addition, after the introduction of Christianity, a prayer for the soul of the deceased might be present. Ornamentation and images are also found upon rune stones.

Runes carved upon rune stones also served a variety of purposes, not only to tell a history of someone, in fact, we have a variety of examples of magical or mystical purpose.

The stone in other planes could be like a mirror in which other entities could read what someone is carving on the stone, that's the reason why some people carve it like someone were watching from the other side, beside that, it's a fundamental pillar to establish a geometrical figure or to maintain a solid energetic structure ... the most powerful and permanent element of magic, through this element, the energy materializes on earth ...

TUATHA DÉ DANANN ...

The Tuatha Dé Danann are Celtic pre-Christian gods with supernatural ability and were of great importance to Gaelic people. They belong to the Otherworld community whose world was reached through mists, hills, lakes, ponds, wetland areas, caves, ancient burial sites, cairns and mounds. Their association with ancient Neolithic and Bronze Age burial mounds is probably linked to the importance these sites had for the people of pre-history. They were places of communal interment for the ancestors of the Celts of northwest Europe who are descended from the native Neolithic peoples of these lands. Their story was passed on for many centuries in oral tradition.

The name Tuatha Dé is thought to derive from old Irish Gaelic meaning ‘people of the gods’.
The Dagda was a very important leader of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His brothers included Ogma and according to some sources Lir. Lir was known as the God of the Sea and is said to be the father of the children in the " Irish legend of the Children of Lir ". He is also said to be the father of Manannán mac Lir, heavily associated with the Isle of Man where he is seen as the Islands first ruler. Manannán is also a significant feature in Scottish and Irish mythology. He is also cognate with the Welsh Manawydan fab Llŷr. Within these old beliefs other entities of the Otherworld are also mentioned. They include the Aos Si, sometimes suggested as separate from the Tuatha Dé Danann, and the Fomhóraigh. The Fomhóraigh have been seen by some as a darker more ominous relative. The distinctions between the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Fomhóraigh are however, blurred, with many interconnections and shared ancestry between the two. The idea of fairies and the old burial mounds as "fairy hills" seem to be a later anglicised invention/interpretation of the old stories.
The Tuatha Dé (Danann) formed an important part of the Gaelic peoples understanding of the world in which they lived. The myths and stories of these supernatural entities were handed down in oral tradition for centuries. Over time these stories varied and developed. The ancient tales were further altered and adapted by monastic scribes in order to adhere to their Christian belief whilst at the same time seeking to ease the people’s transition toward Christian conversion. In understanding this it needs to be acknowledged that the monastic scholars provided a valuable written account of elements of these ancient myths. They present some evidence to modern researchers who seek to unravel our ancestor’s beliefs and gain an understanding of the gods they worshipped.
Many of the Tuatha Dé Danann are mentioned in the Book of Leinster, compiled in the mid twelfth century but comprising of older texts, themselves based on age-old oral tradition.

Important figures which have been linked by various sources to the Tuatha Dé Danann.

  • Dagda (The Dagda) : The leader and father figure and druid of the Tuatha Dé and symbol of life and death. Also known as Ruadh Rofhessa (Red One Great in Knowledge). He is said to have had a bottomless cauldron and to have been very powerful, wielding a mighty club. Dagda was seen to be a wise leader with abundant skills and is known as "the good god". Amongst his many lovers he is noted for his relationship with Boann, a river goddess from whom the River Boyne takes its name. Among Dagda’s offspring is Brigid and he is a brother of Ogma.
  • Lir : God of the Sea. Father of Manannán mac Lir. Also seen as the father of the Children of Lir renowned in Irish Legend. He is cognate with the Welsh God Llŷr.
  • Ogma : Brother of The Dagda, associated with learning and credited with creating Ogham script.
  • Lugh : God of the sun and light, harvests and associated with arts and crafts. A great warrior and according to the Ulster Cycle father of the legendary Cú Chulainn. Linked to a number of sites in Ireland he spent part of his childhood in the Isle of Man where he was trained by Manannán mac Lir who loaned him his horse Enbarr who could travel over land and sea.
  • Nuada (of the Silver Arm) : Once King of the Danaans. His hand lost in battle it was replaced with one made of silver. Lugh was said to have fought on behalf of the Tuatha Dé Danann whilst Nuada was having his new silver arm made.
  • Dian Cécht : Grandfather of Lugh. He is the god of medicine and made the arm of silver for Nuada.
  • Brigid : Daughter of The Dagda. Goddess and also origin of the Christian Saint Brigid. She was a fertility goddess and is associated with the feast of Imbolg. Imbolg is the second of the four ancient yearly Celtic festivals ( Imbolg : start of spring on 1st February ).
  • Dana : Described by some as an Irish mother goddess and the mother of the Danaans.
  • Aengus Óg : Son of Dagda and Boann and associated with love. He is said to have taken possession of Brú na Bóinne (Boyne Valley), which is the location of the ancient monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth.
  • Morrigan : Irish Goddess associated with war, prophesy and the ability to enchant. In the Ulster Cycle she is depicted changing her form into a wolf, eel and cow in her entanglement with Cú Chulainn. Sometimes described as forming one of three sister goddesses.
  • Áine : Associated with sovereignty and a number of sites around Ireland bare her name. She is seen as linked to summer and the sun and therefore also to good harvests.
  • Macha : One of a number of figures named Macha in Celtic mythology. Macha wife of Cruinniac is associated with the curse of the warriors of Ulster. Cruinniuc boasted that his wife could run faster than the king’s horses; the king then ordered she race against them. Macha was forced to do this even though in the later stages of pregnancy. Although she won the race she gave birth to twins directly afterwards and she cursed the men of Ulster for the ordeal she had been put through. The nature of the curse was that at the time they were needed the most they were laid low.
  • Sionna : Granddaughter of Lir - associated with Spring water. She goes to Cóelrind Well to gain knowledge but is drowned when not adhering to established protocols. She is swept along the waters of the flooding well which form the River Shannon which is named after Sionna.
  • Manannán mac Lir : Son of Lir and associated with islands, magical mists and the sea. Said to be first ruler of the Isle of Man, he fostered and trained Lugh there before being sent back to Ireland to engage in battle. Manannán's wife was Fand who sought to lure Cú Chulainn from Emer.

  • Tre Dee' Dana : The three brothers of Art and Craftsmanship: Gobniu - the smith. Credne - the goldsmith. Luchtaine - the carpenter. They forged the weapons that the Tuatha Dé Danann used in battle.
